Lexar has launched an updated version of its EQ790 M.2 NVMe SSD, now equipped with a built-in passive heatsink. Building on the original EQ790 lineup, the new drive uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and comes with a black-and-red heatsink design.

It follows the M.2 2280 form factor (80 × 24 × 9.7 mm including the heatsink) and is also compatible with PS5 consoles. Endurance ratings are 600 TBW (1 TB), 1,200 TBW (2 TB), and 2,400 TBW (4 TB), with an average lifespan of 1.5 million hours.
